Remus chuckled at the remark, "Severus is one not to get on his bad side. If it wasn't for Albus ordering him to make the wolfsbane potion for me; I don't think Severus would give the time of day." Again his inner thought over came him and was again a young student in the hospital with a animal bite. Albus sitting by his side and talking with a greasy haired boy about a wolfsbane potion. When the grease ball turned around -it was Severus; he seemed not to comprehend what Albus was asking him to do. He started inwardly laughing and realized he was laughing out loud. "Oh, I so sorry, I did mean to laugh at you, " Remus said, " I was lost in thought again. Andromeda, I have been meaning to ask you about -Rolduphus has been asking around town about you. He seem to be under the impression that you are talking with centaurs. Is that true? I think it is rather funny that he should be so bold to even get caught making the inquiries, but as Sirus and I guess, Bellatrix seems to be the brains in that family."

With the hood still over here head she walked into the bar. 'Where are they' she thought. The handkerchief she was holding was still wet after her crying fit. When Lucius told her about Draco and what the dark insisted he do...I need to talk to someone who can help him. Narcissa looked around and then she noticed some ministry people who nodded at her. She knew they were going to meet her husband for a payoff and cringed at the thought of this would destroy her husband in the end. 'Lucius and his high ideas of becoming the new minister, all under the dark lord command.' she continued to think, 'how on earth can I live up to that pressure.' she started crying again.

Walking beside him, she found her mind wandering as he spoke. Nothing held interest for her, it seemed. His words, his gate, the scenery, the castle. There was an itch in the back of her mind, a reminder of something she had long ago forgotten. It was like she had tied a string around her finger, but couldn't remember why. Something was amiss.
She realized then that Remus had paused for some kind of reaction, and she backtracked to find out what he had been going on about.
"When I first joined the Order, I made up excuses for Severus," she admitted as she lifted her cloak to better trudge over a small hill in the walkway, "I told myself he must be lonely, must be upset to be such a berk."
Once they were over the little rise in the ground, she released the bunched fabric from her hands. What was it, she wondered. What was wrong?
"But then I recalled that I'm not the easiest person in the world, and I don't think I have an excuse for it. Snape is a bloody foolish tosser. Save a life, still a tosser. Keep a secret, still a tosser. If you try to find reason in the man, you'll go mad."

Snape looked a bit put out as both the girl and Farthingale left him in the Restricted Section with nary a second glance. He sniffed haughtily and headed toward the exit, wondering what oddity had just happened. Between getting an armful of Farthingale and getting his teaching robes torn by the usually mousy librarian, he couldn't decide which had been worse. The last wizard that had tried any funny business with him, had ended up at St-Mungos with extra appendages on his head.
He strode to the door of the library and pulled the handle. The door didn't budge at all. Using both hands, he pulled even harder. Nothing happened, again. He turned around and glared viciously at the librarian's desk. She wasn't there and the place was silent. "Miss Green!" he thundered, trying to gain her attention as she probably was hiding in one of the rows of the regular library. "Miss Green!!!" he shouted again, but again, he was greeted with silence.
He went around the place, seeking the recalcitrant female. "Homenum Revelio" he tried with a swish of his wand and could see that no one was inside the library. To say that the Potions man was pissed, was stating it weakly as he stalked back to the door and tried to decode the wards that the bloody librarian used for the library. Between each spell he grunted, a string of expletives directed at the girl could be clearly heard inside the cavernous room.

Jessica stared dumbly as Alan passed by and exited the library in a huff. She then stared at Snape waspish expression, "Oh for heaven's sake! You wizards are horribly stupid sometimes." She ran out of the Restricted section, slowing down as she came to the library counter. She picked up her purse and left the library, warding the door with a backhanded spell. Snape was a royal pain, but that didn't give him the right to treat everyone like vermin. She was going to get back at him, one way or the other.
She went to down to the kitchens, tickling the big pear on the door to make the doorknob appear. She headed in and took a seat. A small, female house-elf came to her, dropping to a steep bow. "Please, bring me some tea Ditzy. I need to think about my secret revenge plot." she muttered carelessly. The elf's eyes grew wide but she didn't voice any opinion about a possible plot; she simply bowed again and disappeared to get the mistress a nice cuppa.
With a fragrant cup of tea at her elbow, Jessica thought her plan out, trying to find the most annoying ways to get on Snape's nerves. Since Dumbledore wasn't much of a prankster... well he was, but not when it concerned Snape. He usually asked the staff to give Snape some leeway and to avoid giving him any kind of grief. But that was just about to change, drastically!

A rather unceremoniously rude shove backwards, Farthingale's back hit the shelves. The commotion was too much for him to take in the dark. There were so many hands sprawling everywhere he wasn't sure who's hands were who's and well, that could be disconcerting if the wrong hands peaked his interests. Farthingale thought it best not to inquire.
Snape was rather caustic, calloused and cold. The Triple Threat of "C" words, Alan would say later in jest. Miss Green was quite seriously manhandled away to the doorway. Snape's reprimand was a bit stern, but the Muggle Studies Professor chalked it up simply to his nack for getting annoyed at things he couldn't control. "I remember a lot of things, Professor," Alan replied with a cheeky grin, "I remember that dark places with other men make you extremely uncomfortable. Dually noted for future annoying moments between us, I can assure you." He continued.
This Snape, Professor of Potions, was a tough nut to crack. Still this being the second encounter with the man Alan was growing increasingly concerned for Miss Green. Jessica seemed either enamored or terrified by this man, and Alan, who often mistook each emotion for the other, couldn't tell the difference which. "Besides, I don't know if I've seen the full resources of the Library to know whether or not it is that I'm through here." Alan said, as if testing the waters, his sentence holding a dual meaning. "Who knows what might have happened had you not shown up when you did Professor." He said low, "We might have," He feigned a gasp, "Learned something new...or...or checked out a book." Placing his hand over his heart, which was hard to see in the dark, Alan started forward. Sure his robes were torn, his pride wounded and his ire drawn, but those of Snape were considerably worse.
"My classroom is none of your concern," Farthingale bit slight offense in his voice, "My studies, who I teach and how...none of your concern. Understand?" Alan assured Snape in a voice that Jessica wouldn't recognize as the smooth, carefree musings of the tolerant man, while making his way back over to the pair in the doorway. Through the shadow Alan approached, his face touching the pale light that flickered and eventually extinguished from the tip of Snape's wand. "And with regard as to whether or not I'm up to snuff...Trust me...I remember well what I'm doing." He bristled, a hint of lie in his words. He didn't like being shoved around, the reaction was natural no matter how out of character it felt for him. He didn't like it that this man seemed to be getting the better of him. Instead of turning back to them and making a scathing remark, Alan growled, "Good Day Miss Green." His face fixed itself from the bit of hostility back to his normal expression and his shoulders tightened instead.
So there, Alan Farthingale, unflappable and brave in his usual demeanor had been faulted. His demeanor had shown a bit of a dent in the armor of his facade and there he stood for a moment wondering if the decision to let his ire show a bit was wise. Probably not, he assumed, but it showed him if nothing else that even he had his limits. "Why does it always have to be a Snake..." He said to himself in a huff as he strolled away, torn robes and little light toward the exit of this establishment. He had to go find something to lighten his mood. Surely Saraid would have something to say about it.

Upon hearing Severus's voice, Peter run back into the living room, "Master, he is a thief- he steals from your private potion locker. I just checked, there is..."
Befor he could finished he felt himself being thrown through the air. 'Why always me!' He thought to himself, no one here ever took him as an equal. 'One of these days, I will get even with all of them. Begining with Snape'.

" Bella, please tell your husband that he needs to work faster, I was told that Lupin has been talking with them also. We must not allow one centaur to side with Dumbledore or the Order. " When he finished speaking he noticed that Severus was kneeling down to him, "Severus, Wormtail tells me you have been sneaking supplies out of the manor again. Obviously, you are creating the potion I requested you to make. That is only one thing I need from you; the others is I heard that Potter is back at Hogwarts. Make sure you make every effort to make Potter look like a complete idiot." Tom did not want to sound too desperate but he needed to regain some order and strengthen his power. "Lucius, have you talked to the Daily Prophet yet? Make sure they print the story about Dumbledore going insane and talk to that minister Fudge. I want it made perfectly clear that Dumbledore has brain washed Potter and that there is no proof I am back."

"Yes, I think a walk would do me good, thank you", Remus replied as he started to walk. "There is so much to done, places to seek....." he stopped himself, like he has a habit of doing these day-slipping of the tongue, "Forgive me, but my mind wanders. I currently having a hard time with the way Severus has been acting these days. Albus, told me a thousand times not to prejudge him--but there are things...." Remus did not know whether or not he should tell her of what he saw in the forest. After all, it could have been a coincidence or just the way Severus likes to keep a mystic about him. There were other changes he observed and in Harry, he was seeing more and more of James in him; there were time when he found himself calling him James by mistake. Remus must remember to remain neutral when it came to the discussion of the dark lord around Harry.

Severus Snape apparated nearby and walked calmly to the front door and entered without knocking. Of course the door was charmed to recognize members of their 'clan' and would open easily for them upon arrival. He stepped through the foyer and headed to the living room where most of meetings occurred. He walked in and came to stand in front of the Dark Lord, bowing solemnly before kneeling down to kiss the hem of the Master's robes.
He got back up and stepped away, "My Lord, you wanted to see me?" he asked as he placed his gaze directly upon His face, not showing any nervousness or feelings of ill-ease.
